Dhaulagiri Circuit Trekking

21 Days 20 Nights

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trekking is one of the most popular and adventurous trekking packages in Nepal’s Dhaulagiri Region. Known for its raw beauty and challenging trails, this trek attracts adventurers seeking an authentic Himalayan experience. Past trekkers have praised the journey, often leaving glowing reviews about its breathtaking scenery and unforgettable moments.

This is a long and demanding trek, classified as strenuous, and is ideal for experienced trekkers. The route takes you deep into the Dhaulagiri Region, culminating at Dhaulagiri Base Camp (8,167m)—the base of the world’s seventh-highest peak.

The adventure begins with a scenic drive to Beni, passing through lush landscapes along the Myagdi Khola before reaching Darbang. From here, the trail turns north, meandering through lowland forests before ascending to higher altitudes. After crossing the French Col Pass (5,240m), the landscape transforms into a snow-covered wonderland. The trek continues over the Dhampus Pass (5,155m) before descending into Marpha, a charming village famous for its apple orchards and locally brewed apple liquor.

The journey concludes with a return to Pokhara via the Ghorepani ridge, offering spectacular panoramic views.

Due to its remoteness and challenging high passes, the Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek remains less frequented. Yet, those who conquer it take home not just incredible photographs but lifelong memories of one of Nepal’s most remarkable trekking adventures.
