Annapurna Circuit Trek

15 Days 14 Nights

distance of approximately 160 to 230 kilometers (100–145 miles), depending on the use of motorized transport and the chosen endpoint. This iconic trek crosses two major river valleys and circles the Annapurna Massif, offering an unparalleled diversity of landscapes and cultures. The highest point of the trek is the Thorung La Pass at 5,416 meters (17,769 feet), which marks the edge of the Tibetan Plateau.

Most trekkers prefer hiking the route counterclockwise, as this direction allows for a more gradual daily altitude gain, making the challenging Thorung La Pass crossing safer and more manageable.

Widely acclaimed as one of the best long-distance treks in the world, the Annapurna Circuit showcases a remarkable range of climate zones — from tropical lowlands at 600 meters above sea level to arctic conditions at the high pass. The trek also offers rich cultural diversity, passing through Hindu villages in the lower foothills and Tibetan-influenced communities in the Manang Valley and lower Mustang region.

Ongoing road construction, such as the Beisahar-Manang highway, has shortened parts of the traditional trail and altered several villages along the way. The improved roads have also encouraged mountain biking, particularly in the Mustang area, adding a new dimension to adventure travel in the region.
