Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Take time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, attend a briefing session where your guide will provide important information about the pilgrimage, travel plans, and necessary preparations. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, visit the renowned Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Experience the spiritual atmosphere and witness rituals performed by priests along the banks of the Bagmati River. Participate in a traditional Puja ceremony, seeking blessings for your upcoming pilgrimage journey. Return to the hotel for rest and preparation. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, visit the historic Narayanhiti Palace Museum, the former royal residence of Nepal’s kings, to explore its rich history and architecture. Then proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), one of Kathmandu’s most iconic Buddhist sites offering panoramic views of the city. In the afternoon, return to your hotel for final trek preparations—checking your gear, packing essentials, and briefing with your guide. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Timure, passing through Syabrubesi. The journey takes you along winding mountain roads, through lush forests and picturesque villages. Timure, located at 1,800 meters, is the gateway to the Nepal-China border and the starting point for the overland journey toward Mount Kailash. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and rest. Today, you will cross the Nepal-China (Tibet) border at Kodari/Chentang after completing immigration and customs formalities. From the border, enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 50 kilometers to Kyirug Village, situated at 2,800 meters. Along the way, experience stunning views of Himalayan landscapes and traditional Tibetan culture. Upon arrival, check into your guesthouse and rest. Overnight stay in Kyirug Village.

After breakfast, embark on a long but scenic drive from Kyirug Village to Saga, located at an altitude of 4,400 meters. The route takes you through the breathtaking Tibetan plateau, crossing vast valleys and high mountain passes. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and rugged landscapes. Upon arrival in Saga, check into your lodge and rest to acclimatize to the higher altitude. Overnight stay in Saga.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive from Saga to Darchen, the gateway town to Mount Kailash. The journey takes you through high-altitude landscapes of the Tibetan plateau, with stunning views of distant snow-capped peaks and vast valleys. Upon arrival in Darchen, check into your lodge and take some time to rest and prepare for the upcoming pilgrimage around Mount Kailash. Overnight stay in Darchen.

Begin your day with a sacred Puja ceremony at the holy Lake Mansarovar, seeking blessings for the pilgrimage ahead. After the spiritual experience and some time to enjoy the serene surroundings, take an afternoon drive to Darchen, located at 4,664 meters. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and prepare for the Kailash Kora (circumambulation) starting soon. Overnight stay in Darchen.

Today marks the beginning of the sacred Kailash Parikrama (Kora)—a 52 km circumambulation around Mount Kailash. Starting early, you trek from Darchen, passing through traditional Tibetan villages, prayer flags, and stunning landscapes. The path gradually ascends and descends, offering spectacular views of the holy mountain. Overnight stay in a guesthouse or camp along the trail.

Today, you explore the north side of Mount Kailash, known as the Inner Kora. This part of the trek is considered highly sacred and offers stunning views of the glacier, rock formations, and the mountain’s sheer cliffs. The terrain is more rugged and challenging, but the spiritual rewards and breathtaking scenery make it worthwhile. Spend the night at a campsite or guesthouse along the route.

Today’s trek takes you over the challenging Dolma La Pass, the highest point of the Kailash Parikrama at 5,630 meters. The route passes through Zutulpuk, a sacred cave where pilgrims often stop to pray. Crossing the pass involves steep climbs and potentially snow-covered terrain, but once at the summit, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. After descending from the pass, spend the night at a nearby campsite or guesthouse.

After crossing Dolma La Pass and reaching Zutulpuk, you begin the descent back toward Darchen, retracing part of the pilgrimage route. Upon arrival in Darchen, you will transfer by vehicle to Saga at 4,600 meters. This marks the conclusion of the sacred Kailash Parikrama. Spend the evening resting and reflecting on your spiritual journey. Overnight stay in Saga.

After breakfast, begin the long scenic drive from Saga back toward Nepal. Traveling through Kyirong, cross the border into Nepal and continue your journey to Kathmandu. Enjoy views of the Himalayan foothills and rural landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel and relax after the long journey. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

This day is reserved as a buffer to accommodate any unforeseen delays during the pilgrimage or travel. Use this time to rest, explore Kathmandu at your own pace, or do last-minute shopping and sightseeing. Your guide will be available to assist with any arrangements or additional activities. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. Our team will assist you with check-out and bidding farewell, wishing you safe travels and lasting memories of your spiritual journey to Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar.
